Kothari International School recently hosted an illuminating workshop for its staff both teaching and Non-Teaching along with the Internal Complaints (IC) Committee, centered on the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) policy in the workplace for women. The session was led by Ms. Kavita Rawat, the managing trustee and founder of an organization dedicated to crime control, social development, women’s empowerment, and children’s education.
The workshop was divided into two comprehensive segments. The initial session was an in-depth discussion with the IC Committee members, where Ms. Rawat meticulously explained the nuances of the POSH policy. In the subsequent session, she engaged with all the teachers of the school.
During the workshop, Ms. Rawat addressed critical aspects of the POSH policy, including its applicability, the procedure for filing a complaint, the policy’s objectives, and its essential components in a workplace setting. The session culminated in an interactive question-and-answer segment, allowing participants to clarify their doubts and gain a deeper understanding.
This workshop was instrumental in providing valuable insights and information, significantly enhancing the participants’ knowledge of fostering a safe and respectful workplace environment.
