The much-anticipated KMUN conference commenced with great enthusiasm and energy on Friday, May 26, 2023. The event kicked off with a captivating ceremony featuring the lighting of the auspicious lamp, a beautiful choir performance, a mesmerizing dance routine, and an incredible band performance by the talented students of Kothari.
Setting the tone for the conference, Ms. Dipti Chawla, the esteemed founder of KMUN and MUN coordinator, delivered an enlightening speech. Following her, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, the Principal at KIS, addressed the delegates, urging them to uphold the value of the UN and restore its former glory. She also emphasized the importance of giving their best and maintaining integrity in all their endeavors.
Our distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Samarth Pathak, then took the stage and delivered a compelling speech, highlighting the significance of crafting meaningful resolutions and sharing them with the world. He also underscored the power of students in present-day diplomacy.
To officially open the conference, Mishti Oberoi, the Secretary General of KMUN, addressed the delegates and declared the conference officially open.
