Improving a student’s penmanship, legibility, and pencil grasp, are all important things that need to be addressed especially in the digital age when most of the written communication is done via texting on mobile devices or a keyboard.
To inculcate the habit of good handwriting among students, Kothari International School, Noida organized a Calligraphy activity for grade K2 students wherein the children actively participated and showcased their talent through handwriting with correct formation of letters with curves.
The emphasis was on legibility, neatness and beautification. It helped to evoke their personality trait as well. It enhances learners’ creative and motor skills since everything has to be put into art and writing by the use of a set of methods and skills.
Students take pride in creating art with letters. It was stunning to see the pride and joy as students improved writing papers by hand using calligraphy to write letters.
