At Kothari International School, learning is not confined to classrooms and books. It goes beyond the four walls and finds a place even in the celebration of festivals. The festival of “Basant Panchmi” is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchami) of the Hindu month of Magha.
It is an occasion that marks the advent of the spring season and is also celebrated to worship Saraswati, the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom. The students of Grade K2 celebrated the day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The children came attired in vibrant hues of yellow.
The spring of joy took over when a prayer ceremony worshipping Goddess Saraswati was led by offerings of spring flowers by all the students and staff and distribution of Prasad amongst all.
