The students of Grade 5 took part in an exciting educational activity — the dissection of a flower. This hands-on experience not only helped them identify and understand the different parts of a flower but also introduced them to the processes of pollination and fertilization.
During the activity, students carefully observed each part of the flower and learned how every structure plays a role in helping the plant grow and reproduce. It was a wonderful opportunity to enhance their observation skills and connect more deeply with the natural world.
The goal of the flower dissection was not just to memorize the names and functions of the parts, but to offer students a meaningful, hands-on exploration. It encouraged them to look beyond the beauty of a flower and appreciate the fascinating and important processes it supports.
