The students of Kothari International School, Noida from Grade 10-12 participated in the Online Course offered by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) through its center, the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS). It was a five-day course called ‘Usefulness of Remote Sensing and GIS for Environmental Studies’ held between 26 July – 30 July 2021. The course aimed at raising awareness among students on remote sensing technology and its use for the study of planet earth and its environment. The use of satellite data and image processing could help students to understand the intricacies of the environment.
