At Kothari International School, we take great pride in nurturing bright students and future leaders who make remarkable contributions to the world. One such inspiring example is our alumnus Shaurya Kansal, who recently returned to his alma mater to share insights with our Grade 12 students on profile building and studying abroad.
Currently pursuing AI & Big Data (Hons) at the University of Wollongong (UOW), Australia, with an exchange at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, Shaurya is the first international recipient of the prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Leadership Scholarship at UOW. His academic journey and accomplishments in the fields of artificial intelligence, deep learning, and entrepreneurship made this session both informative and inspiring.
A Session Full of Purpose and Possibilities
Shaurya’s session focused on:
Effective profile building
Securing international scholarships
Strategic planning for studying abroad
Through engaging storytelling and practical advice, he encouraged students to go beyond classroom learning. He shared how taking part in research projects, leadership roles, and meaningful extracurriculars can make an application stand out.
Drawing from his journey as an IDP IELTS Ambassador, Secretary of the UOW Startup Society, and contributor to iAccelerate, UOW’s startup incubator, Shaurya emphasized the importance of networking, entrepreneurial thinking, and problem-solving skills.
