Kothari International School, Noida held its Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2022-23 on 11 July 2022 . The chief guest for the event was, Dr. Nimesh Desai, a well-known personality in the field of medicine.
The ceremony was graced by the benign presence of the chair person Mrs. Arti Kothari, trustee Dr. Avinash Gupta, Principal Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Vice principal Mr. Manish Seksaria, staff and parents.
‘Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school prefectorial board was formed after elections followed with scrutinous interviewing and selection.
The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief guest and all the distinguished guests. The day was further given an auspicious beginning by the singing of the hymn. The Choir had a melodious song which perfectly suited the event. The song guided the students to overcome their challenges and never give up whatever the situation may be.
It was followed by a welcome dance performed which held everyone captive to their performance.
The Principal Dr Sangeeta Arora inspired and encouraged the elected leaders to be dutiful and responsible in her address to the gathering.
The march by all the prefects was a spectacular event which set the mood for the occasion. The appointed prefectorial board took the oath in unison.
In his address, the Chief Guest Mr.Nimesh Desai appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students to take part in activities like these.
He also congratulated the newly appointed school prefectorial board for their preparedness to shoulder responsibilities. He asked them to use these opportunities and balance them well with academics to excel in both. He wished well to all the members of the prefectorial board
The head boy and head girl shared their experiences and gratitude to the teachers and management in their speech.
Besides it being a land mark in the history of the school, parents applauded the school for being democratic in its approach as well as giving a sense of participation to the young leaders.
The day was concluded with thunderous clapping for the success of the day.
