Kothari International School, celebrated the Investiture Ceremony

Kothari International School, Noida, celebrated the Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 with great enthusiasm and solemnity on Saturday, 3 May 2025.
The solemn occasion was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Justice, Shri Bhanwar Singh, as the Chief Guest of the Investiture Ceremony 2025. A distinguished legal luminary, Justice Singh has served as a former Judge of the Allahabad High Court, Registrar General of the Supreme Court of India, President of the U.P. State Consumer Commission, Chairman of the Judicial Training & Research Institute, U.P., and is currently the Director General of Delhi Metropolitan Education. Also present were Dr Shalini Gautam, Professor & Head of Outreach and Research at Delhi Metropolitan Education, along with KIS Trustee Dr Avinash Gupta, Principal Dr Sangeeta Arora, and Vice Principal Ms Nidhi Kapoor.
This landmark event marked the formal installation of the new student council, symbolizing the beginning of a leadership journey grounded in responsibility and service. The ceremony commenced on an auspicious note with a soulful invocation and the traditional Ganesha Stuti, seeking blessings for wisdom and success. The sacred chants created a spiritual ambiance, setting the tone for the dignified proceedings to follow.
The Principal, Dr Sangeeta Arora, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the value of leadership, teamwork, and integrity. She reminded the student council members that with power comes responsibility and that their roles were vital in shaping the school’s culture and spirit.
The Badge Ceremony was the most anticipated moment of the event, as newly elected student leaders — including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Student Council Prefects, Prefectorial Board Cabinet, House Prefects, Sports Prefect, House Captains, and Vice Captains — were proudly adorned with their badges. This ceremonial act symbolized the passing of the mantle of leadership, as each student stepped forward with a sense of honor and commitment, pledging to embody and uphold the values of the school.
Following the badge distribution, the Oath was administered. The new council solemnly pledged to lead with integrity, commitment, and fairness, vowing to represent the voice of the student body and uphold the ethos of Kothari International School.
The Chief Guest, in his powerful and motivational address, spoke about the principles of life, the essence of leadership rooted in service, justice, and humility. His words left a lasting impression on the young minds, encouraging them to be ethical, empathetic, and courageous leaders of tomorrow.
The newly appointed Head Boy, Siddhant Singh Shah, delivered an inspiring speech, reiterating the council’s collective vision and commitment. Quoting Thomas Edison, he remarked, “Vision without execution is hallucination,” urging his peers to work hard with purpose and consistency. The Head Girl, Chetna Mishra, extended a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, Principal, teachers, parents, and fellow students for their support and trust. She emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in building strong student leadership.
The ceremony concluded with the soulful rendition of the School Song, “We are the K.I.S.,” echoing the spirit of unity, ambition, and hope. This was followed by the National Anthem, bringing the inspiring event to a proud and patriotic close.
The Investiture Ceremony 2025–26 was not just a celebration of titles and positions, but a reminder that leadership is a lifelong commitment to growth, courage, and contribution.
