Grade 7 students participated in a mindfulness session organized

On 12th July 2024, Grade 7 students participated in a mindfulness session organized by the Counselling Department of Kothari International School (KIS) as part of the Health and Wellbeing Program. The session was conducted by Ms. Shabda Satsangi, a renowned Mindfulness Coach certified by institutions like the British Mindfulness Institute in London, Youth Mindfulness in the UK, and the University of Massachusetts in the USA.
Shabda led the students through activities designed to introduce the principles and practices of mindfulness. These activities aimed to help students develop calmness, focus, and awareness of their thoughts and emotions. Through interactive exercises, students learned techniques to manage stress and improve their well-being.
The session was well-received, with students actively participating and expressing interest in incorporating mindfulness into their daily lives. This initiative provided valuable tools for mental and emotional well-being and emphasized the importance of mindfulness in fostering a positive mindset.
