Every year on April 22nd, Kothari International School, Noida, proudly celebrates Earth Day, reinforcing the vital message of protecting and preserving our planet. This year, our enthusiastic Grade 1 students took this mission to heart with a series of meaningful and memorable activities.
The day began with inspiring videos that introduced the young minds to the importance of environmental care. With joyful energy, they performed vibrant dances to spread awareness and express their love for nature.
A highlight of the celebration was the sapling plantation activity, where each child planted a sapling — a living symbol of their personal pledge to protect Mother Earth. With sincerity and commitment, they vowed to care for their green friends and make eco-friendly choices every day.
Their journey continued with creative expression — from colouring Mother Earth with love to penning thoughtful reflections on conserving water, reducing waste, and embracing sustainability.
This Earth Day, our little environmentalists proved that age is no barrier to impact. With hearts full of hope and hands ready to help, they inspired the entire school community to dream of a greener, brighter future.
