Grade 4 students participated in an engaging activity titled “Tooth Model by Clay Modelling” to understand the structure of a tooth through hands-on learning. Using various colors of clay, toothpicks, labels, and a large poster board, students molded the clay to form different parts of a tooth, such as the crown, enamel, dentin, and root. The toothpicks provided support and shape details, while the labels and poster board helped in identifying and presenting each part clearly.
The activity was both educational and enjoyable. Students demonstrated great creativity and teamwork, working together to accurately represent the anatomy of a tooth. This hands-on approach facilitated a deeper understanding of dental structure and health, making the lesson memorable and effective. The colorful clay models and labeled diagrams provided a visual aid that reinforced the concepts learned during the class.
