Charity is the supreme duty or virtue. The students and Social Science Department of Kothari International School, Noida, organized the Kothari Model United Nations (KMUN 2024) on 10th and 11th May, 2024. The event successfully raised INR 2 lakh, which was donated to the Child Rights and You Foundation (CRY) to support underprivileged children.
This donation aligns with the school’s core values, emphasizing the importance of nurturing a supportive community, achieving excellence through moral leadership, addressing social disparities, and building a future grounded in empathy and social responsibility.
The cheque was presented to Ms. Smriti Rustagi, Assistant Manager of the Volunteer Action Team at CRY, in the presence of our Principal, Dr. Sangeeta Arora, Vice Principal, Mr. Manish Seksaria, Event In Charge, Ms. Dipti Chawla, and the event’s Secretariat. CRY expressed their appreciation by presenting mementos and letters of recommendation to the Secretariat and discussed potential future collaborations to continue supporting children’s rights.
This event highlighted our students’ organizational skills and their dedication to making a positive impact on society, truly embodying the spirit of charity and community service.
