At Kothari International School, Noida, we believe in nurturing innovation and fostering a spirit of creativity beyond our campus walls. On April 23, 2024, in honor of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, we celebrated ATL Community Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The theme for this year’s event was “Embracing the Power of Innovation, Embracing the Future!”
Our goal was simple yet profound: to extend the reach of our Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) and its impact on non-ATL school children. We were thrilled to welcome 14 students and a teacher from Sai Vidya Niketan School, Sector 40, to join us in this celebration of innovation.
The day kicked off with a series of challenging tasks designed to ignite curiosity, foster technological literacy, and inspire creativity among the visiting students. From hands-on activities with Discovery Motion kits to exploring the intricacies of Logic Block kits and Straw Bot kits, the students were fully immersed in the world of innovation.
One of the highlights of the event was the interactive session on Drones: Basic Functions and Operations, led by a guest mentor. The students were captivated as they learned about the fascinating capabilities of drones and even had the opportunity to engage in a hands-on demonstration.
