ATL SPACE CHALLENGE 2021

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships.”

KIS continued with its winning streak as our team comprising of Andrea Dia Benjamin and Aakriti Karan of Grade 9D,brought accolades to the school by being one of the team members in the list of top 75 innovations for ATL Space Challenge 2021 at National level. The ATL Space Challenge was launched on 6th September 2021 by Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog in collaboration with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) as part ofthe nation-wide celebration of ‘AzadiKaAmritMahotsav’.

The innovation title of the project designed was Marsoxy Life Support System, under the theme Inhabiting Space. The project aims to explore the possibilities of human existence on Mars, by providing oxygen supply. The idea behind the innovation was – the concept of hydrolysis on Mars using the abundant resources present there and deriving advantage to enable human survival with the available resources on Mars, just like we thrive on Earth.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and more than 2,500 entries were received across various categories from students (both from ATL schools as well as Non-ATL schools).
