Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at Kothari International School with vibrant enthusiasm to honor the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu and the divine protector. Our spirited Grade K2 students immersed themselves in the festivities with joy and devotion. The day began with a delightful craft activity, where children designed colourful headgear and crafted beautiful mor pankh (peacock feathers), symbolising Lord Krishna’s iconic look.
Classroom discussions led by teachers brought stories from Krishna’s life alive, helping young minds understand the significance of the festival. A joyful rhyme recitation and a lively dance session added to the excitement, filling the atmosphere with laughter, music, and energy.
It was a beautiful blend of learning, creativity, and cultural celebration, leaving our little ones with fond memories of Lord Krishna’s life and teachings.
