A remarkable learning experience unfolded for our students during the Hands-on Training on Robotics

A remarkable learning experience unfolded for our students during the Hands-on Training on Robotics workshop held on 26th and 27th September 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Conducted by the University Science Instrumentation Centre (USIC) in collaboration with the School of Engineering (SoE), the workshop offered an inspiring blend of theory and practical exploration.
Students delved into the fundamentals of robotics and circuits, learning to distinguish between analog and digital signals. They explored the use of microcontrollers, particularly Arduino, and gained insights into voltage parameters and programming logic. Through interactive sessions on software tools and simulations, they understood how robotic systems are designed, tested, and refined.
The most engaging part of the workshop was the hands-on experience. Students designed a Bluetooth-controlled car and a water sensor system, translating coding concepts into real-world applications. Observing the projects developed by engineering students further broadened their perspective on innovation and mechanical design.
